The AYF Experience hosted by New Jersey AYF in Toms River, New Jersey was the largest experience of any nationwide with more than 200 participants competing in both football and cheer. The Experience brought out some of AYF/AYC National Staff such as Joe Galat-AYF President, Elizabeth Bray-AYF Operations Director Craig Karahuta-AYC Operations Director, James McKinney- AYF Camp Director , Lou Montanaro AYF East All Star Director, and Big East Region cheer Director Adrienne Marko.

The day began early with registration beginning at 830am and opening ceremonies with featured speaker AYF President Joe Galat and some of our National Sponsors. Donnell Britt took over from their with his company Diamond Combines testing each participant electronically in the 40 Yard Dash, the 5-10-5 Short Shuttle, The Vertical Jump and the 3 Cone Drill. Coach Britt and his staff closed out the morning sessions with 1 on 1and 7 on 7 competition. The boys and girls were given lunch and went right back to work. The Afternoon Session was run by James McKinney AYF Camp Director, Lou Montanaro AYF All Stars and the NJAYF All Star Coaching Staff. The sessions included positions specific training for individual offensive and defensive positions with individual competitions at every position. Awards were given for MVP for every position and the other awards:

The AYF Experience in Toms River, NJ also included a clinic run by the AYF National Sponsor Epic Brands.  100 girls from throughout the Big East Region attended the clinic. Epic instructor Tracy Kumbiar and her staff of 8 ran an all day camp for all ages and skill levels.  The cheerleaders learned drills and skills in partner stunts,  pyramids, jumps, dance, cheers, props and creative ins and outs.  As well as getting special instruction before the end of the day.
Also present were Body By Visalus Representatives Matt and Vanessa Wilhelm and Claudia Lugo AYF/AYC National sponsor for Health and Nutrition who provided instructional classes for wellness and fundraising to Coaches, parents and camp participants.
